Mindfulness Guidance and Coaching
During guidance and coaching sessions, mindfulness practices are gradually introduced and practised with the intention of supporting the client with aspects of life where they may be experiencing challenge, stress or difficulty. The individual is invited to engage with and explore these practices both during the session and in their own time at home. During each session we reflect on and inquire into what comes up during practices and through reflective discussions we find ways to integrate mindfulness into everyday life to support the individual’s overall wellbeing.
Mindfulness guidance and coaching sessions allow the individual to identify and explore areas of their lives where they would like to see personal growth and make changes that will impact their lives in a positive way. The sessions, infused with mindfulness practices, will be guided with care, confidentiality, respect, non-judgement, and always with an open mind and heart. Clients are guided to explore mindfulness practices in a safe environment, with the intention of always supporting the client enhance their wellbeing, create more balance in their life as well as sparking motivation to take positive actions.
Mindfulness for Kids
Mindfulness is something that everyone of all ages have access to and some might even argue that children live their lives more mindfully and in the present moment than many adults do! These sessions for children are guided in a caring, joyful and playful way and mindfulness is introduced as a powerful practice to support children and teenagers in their social and emotional development. Mindfulness practice can help improve focus and attention, teach self-regulation when faced with challenging emotions and support them to build healthy habits and positive relationships.
Issues that are active in the young person’s life relating to social and emotional difficulties, relationships and personal challenges can be explored in a mindful and sensitive way. There is a strong emphasis in each session on mentoring, guiding and supporting young people and to introduce simple mindfulness practices into their lives to support their overall health and wellbeing. Some of the topics that can be explored include: growing our awareness, living in the present moment, befriending oneself with curiosity, compassion for oneself and others and living life with gratitude and a sense of joy.
Educational Services: Private Tutoring and Mentoring
Private tutoring and mentoring are also offered for students aged 5 to 18 in a wide range of academic subjects, including English tutoring for students who are learning English as a second language. English conversation classes for adults are also available.
